The origins
From a passion for wine and mathematics, Sciaccawines was born.
Following family traditions, Michele and Lidia, during a study stay in Barcelona, on warm Catalan evenings, had the idea to create a brand that combines the tradition of wine and mathematical studies on heat transfer.
The symbol they chose is the Klein bottle, a mathematical surface consisting of a single face that continuously joins the opposite sides of the bottle, symbolizing the idea that wine is union and sharing.
Harmony is synonymous with perfection and beauty. The great Leonardo Da Vinci often used the divine mathematical proportion, according to the golden ratio, in his works, creating masterpieces appreciated all over the world. In the same way, the right proportion of ingredients, respecting mathematical rigor, gives life to the magic of good wine.
The testimony of the simple and sincere roots of a tradition passionately handed down from father to son can be found in the ancient working tools of the ancestors, from the Sicilian cart used by grandfather Michele to the crushers of grandfather Ciccio, to the press and crusher of grandfather Pino, and even further back to the vine of the most distant ancestors.
